Iwata has been the President of Nintendo since 2002 and although he has maintained a high approval rating, the rating has been slowly decreasing. In 2011 his rating was 92.9% but last year that rating was down to 77.3%, his rating for this year is yet to be announced but with the recent success of Mario Kart 8 and Nintendo’s E3, it wouldn’t surprise us if he’d gone up in popularity.
