Konami’s David Daniels said that fans of SAW have been very vocal and exclaimed “Tobin Bell absolutely must be the voice of Jigsaw.” He continued to say it never occurred to the team “to even try and make a SAW game without Tobin.”

Producers Mark Burg and Oren Koules are happy about the franchise video game extension “which captures the ethos of Jigsaw and the terror of being caught in one of his games with complete authenticity.”

Bell himself is very proud to be part of the development, saying he has been “very impressed with mechanics of the game. It’s terrifyingly smart and intriguing to me! It is a fitting follow-up to the tantalizing games of SAW.”

Konami’s history of making horror games and the dark ethos of SAW will most likely make for one scary game. Probably a good idea Konami snagged the license.  The game is developed by Zombie Studios.

The game takes place inside the an abandoned insane asylum which Jigsaw has transformed into “a gauntlet of terrors” he alone controls.
