Telltale have popped their head out of the boarded up attic to clarify some release-date rumours that had escaped into the wilds of the internet today. A spot of interview confusion during a recent chat between Telltale’s CEO Dan Connors and Eurogamer had resulted in the impression that the second ‘season’ of the episodic game would be due in 2014.
In fact, that’s not the case. Telltale has told Game Informer than the second season will (most likely) be showing up in the autumn of this year. So now you know when to budget for a stack of man-sized tissues to sob into.
Sayeth Telltale: “The current estimated release window for Season Two of The Walking Dead is for fall of ‘this’ year (2013), and not ‘next’ year (2014) as has been reported after a recent interview.
