Back in July, From Software surprised everyone by announcing even more content to come for Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. In addition to the inherent challenge of the game itself, players can look forward to pushing their limits even more in the form of two new challenges. As part of the Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice update, there are the Reflections of Strength and Gauntlets of Strength challenges to overcome.
That is not all as well. This Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice update will add in the ability to record up to 30 seconds of gameplay. You can then upload that clip and share it with the world. If you are particularly adept at a certain boss fight or failed miserably at something, now you can capture that easily.
Testing your mettle
Honing your swordplay and perfecting the timing is part and parcel of the Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice experience. It should come as no surprise that the Reflections of Strength and Gauntlets of Strength will demand all of that and more. The former is all about clashing with familiar old foes. All the bosses you have defeated can be challenged once more, and all you need to do is head to any Sculptor’s Idol. New strategies can be unleashed, or you can always see how you match up after going further in the game.
All of that would be great practice for the Gauntlets of Strength. These are new challenges that will require you to be in tip-top shape. After all, you only have one single life to complete whatever is asked of you. If you know From Software, you know this is no laughing matter. As an incentive, this Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice update will reward players with new costumes as well. Beating the game once will net you one, while the other two comes from completing the challenges.
Your new challenges await this October 28, when the Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice update hits.
