Sexy time returns to Mass Effect 3 with forthcoming Citadel DLC

Mass Effect 3 - Citadel

BioWare has announced a pair of new DLCs for Mass Effect 3, one of which will surely come as no surprise. Yes, it’s the oft hinted at ‘Citadel’ add-on, in which some sort of high-level conspiracy is targeting Commander Shepard. You’ll need to delve through some council files (and probably shoot some dudes) to uncover the truth.

As suggested, the cast from the first two titles will be returning for this one, and the announcement wording makes it sound as if you can essentially add any of these guys to your squad: “… fight alongside your squad – as well as the cast from the original Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2, including Urdnot Wrex!”

Seems like there’ll be a fair amount of post-plot stuff to do too, including visiting a casino, fighting in the Armax Combat Arena, furnishing some personal living quarters and “rekindling romances” with past flings. You saucy space captain, you.

‘Citadel’ is due on 5 March, priced at $15.00 USD.

Mass Effect 3 - Reckoning

A little earlier (26 February,) you’ll be able to grab a new multiplayer DLC (free, as usual) called ‘Reckoning.’ That means new characters: Geth Juggernaut, Female Turian Raptor, Talon Mercenary, Alliance Infiltration Unit and Krogan Warlord; and new weapons/equipment: Geth Spitfire Assault Rifle, Venom Shotgun, Lancer Assault Rifle, the Geth Scanner and Assault Rifle Omni-blade.
