Remember when Dark Horse and CD Projekt Red teased something that looked like a comic based on The Witcher, and we predicted that it was a comic based on The Witcher? Guess what: Dark Horse and CD Projekt Red are doing a comic based on The Witcher.

The comic itself will be written by Paul Tobin, Eisner Award winning writer of Bandette, with Joe Querio and Dave Johnson providing the art. The plot itself revolves around our man Geralt coming across a widowed man on the outskirts of the Black Forest, and discovering that said widowed man’s dead and murderous wife is living in a mansion called the House of Glass. Naturally, it’s up to Geralt to wander in, investigate, and put a stop to any naughty supernatural shenanigans.

Witcher #1 will be available on 19 March, and you can have a gander at the cover art on this very page. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is due out at some mysterious point in 2014.
