Any fans of Sim City who may have been hoping to see a console version eventually have some bad news coming today. EA just confirmed that there is no plan to release the game on any console .

Of course this doesn’t always mean that there is absolutely no chance of it happening at some point in the future, but given the reception the game received it’s unlikely EA will want to bother with porting the game.
However it could work well with the touch pad of the Dualshock 4 or the Gamepad of the Wii-U, so it’s a bit of a shame that there’s no plan to take advantage of the opportunity.
