Sims 3 Best Selling PC Game of 2009

The NPD figures released earlier showed interesting stats for last year and they also highlighted the best selling PC games of last year.Unsurprisingly World of Warcraft expansion made it to the top of the list but it was surpassed by The Sims 3. However Blizzard will be over the moon to see three WoW titles making the top ten. The Sims is still as popular as ever it seems and EA has done well with their PC sales in 2009 taking five of the top ten titles. Here’s the run-down…The Sims 3 World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King The Sims 2 Double Deluxe  World of Warcraft: Battle Chest Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 World of Warcraft The Sims 3: World Adventures Spore Dragon Age: Origins Empire: Total WarPC sales have showed a decrease of 23% last year but the NPD figures are not the full story as it they don’t include digital distribution which is becoming an increasingly popular purchasing method for PC gamers.
