Endless Fluff have revealed that their forthcoming Metroidvania-ish platformer Valdis Story: Abyssal City is due out this summer.

It looks rather bleedin’ good, too. The usual Metroidvania bits and bobs are on display, from explorable interconnected zones through to upgradable weapons/armour/accessories, and the combat looks fast-paced and combo-centric. Seriously: the combat looks really, really good.

See for yourself in the trailer below. There’s also a demo currently available, and the game is hunting for upvotes on Greenlight.
