I’ve been following the development of Monaco for a while now, but seem no closer to quite understanding how it’s played. The concept sounds great: a top-down, multiplayer title in which you break into buildings, nab some cash, and get out. But exactly how the different character types (hacker, look-out and soforth) fit in, and which roles they play, is still a little fuzzy in my mind.
Pocketwatch Games (which is basically a one-man operation by Andy Schatz) has released a new video from the game, which shows a bit of online play and … well, it reveals a bit more of how the title is played. I guess to reveal too much would be to place the identities of the little indie criminals in danger.
Definitely one to watch out for when it finally gets a release date on the PC.
