Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 Gwc 2 Tajmid Heights Missions Challenges Guide

Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 — Tajmid Heights guide

A frustrating rescue mission.

Sabotage the Oil Fields

Recommended Videos

The oil fields are at the southern section of the map. From your current spot (where you took out Hamza Khan and Zivko Dragovic), climb on top of some ledges until you can cross a wooden bridge. Past that point is a village. At the cliffside edge, you’ll be able to see the oil fields.

There are multiple targets here. First, the eight pumps themselves need to be disabled. To do that, you’ll need to shoot the control panels. Some of these are being blocked by soldiers, so you might need to shimmy a bit to the side.

Others, meanwhile, are inside buildings. If you blast the fuse boxes, soldiers will exit the building and you should have a clear line-of-sight.

Next, there are three water pipe controls shown as red contraptions (similar to the ones you saw at the dam in Mount Kuamar). Shooting these once would destroy them.

Note: If you use a silenced sniper rifle to disable the pumps and pipe controls, and if you didn’t blow up any of the explosive barrels, then the base won’t be alerted. You’ll complete a couple of challenges.

Now, here’s the tricky part. The objective won’t be completed until you destroy at least one explosive barrel. Likewise, there’s a challenge that does require you to destroy all the barrels after sabotaging the contraptions. The problem is that one explosion is enough to put the base on high alert. Not only that, but you’ll also need to contend with patrols that will arrive at the abandoned village.

Basically, the more barrels go “kaboom,” the more you’ll get distracted as enemies pour in behind you. If you haven’t unlocked a lot of defensive gadgets yet (i.e., turrets or mines), then it’s going to be tough to survive. Once you’ve unlocked a few, though, then you should be able to walk out alive. If you can eliminate three enemy waves, you’ll even complete another challenge.

Assuming you just want to get this part done, then the trick is to just blow up one barrel (you’ll get a checkpoint). Immediately turn around and head to your right. Go prone and crawl through the grass until you can loop around the small hill. It should lead you to one of the exfiltration points past the wooden bridge from earlier.

Alternatively, if you wish to kill as many hostiles as possible, you can still head to your right and make your way inside the small cavern. You can pick up the “Desert Dark” camo here, and you can defend the position until all the enemies are downed.

All right, we’re done with these ordeals. It’s time to do the objectives in Rashida Qalat.
