Find the Prisoners and Eliminate Bibi Rashida
It’s time to put an end to Bibi Rashida’s plans. But, first, we’ll need to find the prisoners.
Where are the prisoners?
Rashida Qalat (i.e., the fortress itself) has two large, walled-off sections. Don’t bother going through the main entrance unless you want to get chewed into smithereens.
Instead, look to your left (facing the fortress). By climbing on the rock formations, you’ll see an opening.
Although the interior is huge, it’s unlikely that you’ll get lost. As you follow the stairwell, you’ll reach the garden/fountain area.
After taking out the soldiers, head to your left (facing the fountain). The stairs straight ahead will lead to a collapsed portion of the castle, sort of like a cave system.
Follow the winding cavern (it even has a portion where the bridge falls and Raven has to swim through dark tunnels). You’ll eventually reach well-lit areas with guards.
As you continue eliminating them, you’ll be told that some prisoners might still be alive.
Unfortunately, once you do reach the interrogation room, it seems that the prisoners have been executed. You’re too late.
Since nothing could be done, just follow the path that leads to the ground and upper levels.
Taking out Bibi Rashida
To be frank, I have absolutely no idea what happened here. I was just making my way through the fortress normally, and my goal was to reach the ramparts.
Sure, there were lots of guards, some heavies, and even a couple of snipers, but I was able to manage.
Then, I saw something odd once I reached the ramparts. Bibi Rashida was just there talking to her troops. A couple of challenges can be done here:
- Kill Bibi Rashida without raising the alarm.
- Kill Bibi Rashida with an explosion.
Note: Because the target is fairly close, and all other enemies are nearby, using an explosive bullet automatically puts the entire base on high alert. Likewise, as far as I’ve noticed, killing too many guards in the inner fortress (or maybe a couple of the snipers, like the one in the ruined tower) would somehow cause the alert status too.
In any case, I escaped the castle and I went to use the nearest exfiltration point (the bluff that’s immediately west of the castle). It also happened to be the spawn point of one of the bounty targets (Daniel McNally).
Well, that’s it. You’ve practically taken out Kuamar’s president and her cohorts. One more mission remains and it takes us to Maladh Wadi.
