SOE Staffers Form New Studio

Three former Sony Online Entertainment staffers have left the company to form a new studio.
Detonator Games, formed on 4 July, comprises Matt Wilson, Corey Dangel and John Smith, all former employees of SOE.
“With backgrounds in MMO and console gaming, they wanted to bring the best of social entertainment to the emerging world of mobile and social networks,” says the blurb on the official site.
“Each founder brings over 15 years of gaming experience including shipping multiple MMO, PC, and console games.”
SOE is currently developing the shooter/MMO hybrid, The Agency. We got a chance to take a look at the game at this year’s E3. Check out our preview and developer interview.
