Square Enix Q3 Looking Up Thanks To Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn

Not too long ago, Square experienced a massive restructuring, even firing their CEO, over the failure of the same game when it was first released in 2010. That restructuring was itself a painful and arduous process, forcing them to report losses as recently as August 2013, to the tune of $ 16.2 million.

Overall, things are starting to look for the company, and with Realm Reborn’s pending release to Playstation 4, as well as other games like Thief and Bravely Default, things are looking up for the company.
