Star Citizen Continues To Raise Crowdfunding Bar At $ 66 Million

Star Citizen is now crowdfunded at an astonishing $ 66 million, having raised $ 3 million in the span of merely one week.

The reason for the jump in funding is not clear, but it is possible that most of this $ 3 million came from one or a few particularly monied investors, buying a lot of modules.

This adds up to 672,ooo investors, and Chris Roberts is hopeful they can reach $ 100 million during the crowdfund’s duration.

Of course, at this scale Cloud Imperium has more than enough funds to make Star Citizen a full scale AAA, if not even bigger.
