The Star Wars Battlefront 2 beta will kick off on 4 October at 8AM UTC for those who have pre-ordered the game and will then go into open beta on 6 October at 8AM UTC.
EA has also revealed the game modes that will also appear during the two test periods. The early access test for pre-orders will include the Assault Trooper challenges (4 Oct) and Battle Points and hero challenges (5Oct). Once it’s open to all on 6 October, the game modes will include Arcade Challenges (6 Oct), Galactic Assault Challenges (7 Oct), and Starfighter Assualt Challenges (8-9 Oct).

Game Modes
GALACTIC ASSAULT
Defend Naboo as a Clone trooper, or join the ranks of the Separatists and storm the royal palace. Utilize 4 distinct trooper classes, call in reinforcements, pilot vehicles, and become a hero.
STARFIGHTER ASSAULT
In Starfighter Assault, race as the Rebel Alliance to destroy a Star Destroyer over Fondor, or rally as the Galactic Empire to defend it.
STRIKE AND ARCADE
In Strike, join a team of First Order troopers or Resistance fighters in team battles around Maz’s castle. In Arcade, engage in single-player scenarios in Theed, capital of Naboo.
