Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic is a favorite in the PC community. However, KTOR has proven to be problematic on modern systems.
Poem Studios is remedying this problem as well as completely overhauling the RPG classic in Unreal Engine 4. The remake is titled Apeiron and will be 100% free upon release. It seems Poem Studios will eventually be accepting donations for the game, but currently are not. The Apeiron website reads:
We can accept donations. However, we are not ready to open donations just yet. We are looking to have a larger portion of the game finished and polished before there is any kind of monetary backing. For now the best thing you can do as a fan is simply get the word out
