TheĀ Star Wars: The Old Republic team gets 2013 underway with their second “State of the game” developer update which looks at upcoming content for the MMO.

As previously reported, a new digital expansion called Rise of the Hutt Cartel is only a couple of months or so away from release which increases the level cap to 55, new enemies to deal with, and a new planet calledĀ Makeb.

Focus is being given to new content for the end-game with new operations, flashpoints, difficulty modes and PvP areas. The bottom line is they are planning on giving players “a more diverse array of activities”, especially if you’ve reached the level cap, which most players will have by now.

The update also tackles the character copy to the public test servers and same gender romance which will be added for with some NPCs on the new planet Makeb.
