The event will be held at the Apollo Piccadilly Circus Cinema (located at 19 Regent Street London SW1Y 4LR) through Wednesday 28 April to Monday 3 May 2010.

Blizzard Entertainment will showcase StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty at the event, allowing gamers to play beta on-site.

“Every year we aim to bring the vanguard of global sci-fi to a dedicated audience of UK film fans. StarCraft definitely rates as one of most recognised science-fiction game series in the world, and we’re delighted that StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty will be presented alongside our programme of movies and events.” – said Sci-Fi London Festival director Louis Savy.

“As a company of science fiction and fantasy buffs, we’re working hard to provide a compelling gameplay experience and tell an epic story with StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty.  SCI-FI-LONDON is a unique opportunity for us to present StarCraft II to an audience of people who share our passion, and we’re excited to be participating.” – commented Mike Morhaime, CEO and co-founder of Blizzard Entertainment.

Tickets and the full programme for the festival should be online next week.
