Concernedape Reveals Stardew Valley 1.5 Update Is Close To Completion (1)

It has been four years since the debut of Stardew Valley. Yet here we are, about to witness the addition of another substantial content update. Creator Eric “ConcernedApe” Barone has certainly done plenty over the years, supporting the game and being transparent with fans as much as he can. Barone first announced that the Stardew Valley 1.5 update was in the works back in February of this year, and Barone has now confirmed that the new update is close to completion. Concerned fans who have been waiting for news on the update can rest easy now.

Taking to Twitter, Barone shared that the Stardew Valley 1.5 update is in the “home stretch” now. Since it is a substantial update, there is the need to do plenty of polishing and bug fixing to make sure it can live up to the standards set in the past.

The new content has the creator excited to share it with all the fans of the farming simulator. In a follow-up tease, he also emphasized that while the update will skew more towards the endgame, there are also other options available to tweak for a new game to freshen up things.

A beautiful end

Of course, as of now, we do not have many concrete details when it comes to Stardew Valley 1.5. At least, not as an overall picture. What we do know are a few pieces of information here and there. The update will likely add a banana tree. Willy’s fish shop will get a mysterious new door. PC players will finally even get split-screen co-op. A new artisan machine will also be added for processing bones. There are a bunch of other items like a telephone stand being added as well.

With just a little more patience, more shall be revealed about Stardew Valley 1.5. For now, with no release date set just yet, we can only farm our time away.
