Starlight Inception secures World of Warcraft composer

Starlight Inception, the kickstarter project which aims to develop a Wing Commander/TIE Fighter style space combat title, has secured a collaboration with composer David Arkenstone. Arkenstone is a musician who has previously worked on World of Warcraft’s Cataclysm expansion.
In the latest update, Escape Hatch’s Garry Gaber says that Arkenstone is “stoked to be working on a space combat game, as he shares our love of the genre”. Gaber adds that the composer’s music is “both evocative and deep” which should make for a “really amazing soundtrack for the game”.
There’s also a new teaser trailer for the game, which you can view below. At present, Starlight Inception has secured around $33,000 of its $150,000 goal, with 21 days left to run. So if you fancy a new space combat title on PC and PlayStation Vita, you should get your pledge sorted in the next couple of weeks.
