Vanquish all human life in Starpoint Gemini Warlords Cycle of Warfare DLC

LGM Games will be extending their RPG/4X strategy Starpoint Gemini Warlords with new Cycle of Warfare DLC next month.

Cycle of Warfare brings new features and over 100 hours of new content to players. In this latest content update, players can start as one of three factions Iolian Pact, Korkyra, and Outerlands.

Two new challenge scenarios will also be included where players can take on the role of the brutal alien race the A’shriari who are seeking humanity’s destruction. The other scenario allows players to take on the role of a privateer seeking “wealth and glory”. LGM says that these two new scenarios will offer “riskier gameplay” moving away from empire management.

A’shriari players will be able to command capital ships from a new line of alien ships, kill all human life in the Gemini system, and their mothership has some kind of giant weapon which can vapourise planets. How nice.

Owners of the base game will also benefit from being able to encounter new alien enemy ships that will apparently drop “epic equipment”.

This is the third piece of DLC to be released following Deadly Dozen and Titans Return as LGM continues to throw all their weight behind this latest game in the franchise.  Cycle of Warfare will be adding all this new space action on 5 October for the price of $9.99.  Here’s your obligatory teaser trailer and the first shots.

Starpoint Gemini Warlords Cycle of Warfare Features summary:

  • Three new conquest scenarios
  • Two new challenge scenarios
  • New ship line, a new weapon and new ability (as the A’shriari)
