Imagos Softworks has put forward an ambitious new project on Kickstarter. Introducing Starr Mazer.

The game attempts to seamlessly combine shmup action with open ended point-and-click adventure gameplay, with an element of randomness. You can choose to enter individual chapters in any order, but doing so will affect what scenario you enter and what outcomes you get, based on what point in time you run across an event or meet a character.

The game brings in a talented group of artists, musicians, and programmers, and is gunning for $ 160,000 in funding. Stretch goals include (unnamed) consoles, although they did bring up the possibility of HuCards.
