The Kickstarter pitch and presentation seems very generic, but it does have everything that you would want from a game in this genre.
Bruce pitches PVP on a persistent universe, managing ships and their crews as a captain, different ship classes, single player mission campaigns, etc.
The game will also have microtransactions, but Bruce promises ship upgrades will require experience points on top of payments, and in-game and purchased credits will be indistinguishable.
