State of Decay: Older versions of Windows will be supported

State of Decay

Undead Labs have been bombarded with requests for information on the PC release of their zombie survival title State of Decay which has done so well on the Xbox, but there’s not been a release date forthcoming.

So what do we know about the release date today? At this point there’s nothing new other than the team saying it’s being worked on and that it’s coming.

There was however a nugget of new information for PC gamers and it’s that the game will support just about every version of Windows going all the way back to XP. Undead commented this evening:

We intend to make the game available for Windows operating systems going all the way back to XP.

While we have no idea if PC gamers still use XP, there may be a few of you, but at least Undead are attempting to make the game as compatible as possible.
