According to SteamDB, that is exactly what is going to happen. Leaked emails to developers point towards a Thursday, February 11 start date for the Steam Lunar New Year Sale 2021. However, it is prudent to note that this has not yet been officially confirmed or announced.

Just like other sales, the Steam Lunar New Year Sale will definitely see steep discounts for many of the games on Valve’s digital storefront. From AAA titles to the independent games, there is surely something that you will fancy.

Ramping up the festivities

Right before the purported start of the sale, Steam will be having another Steam Game Festival as well. That will be taking place from February 3 to February 9. Similar to previous iterations, players can expect much content to enjoy. There will surely be even more free demos, awesome indies getting the spotlight, and more hype surrounding upcoming games.
