By Yesterday, a rumor began on Reddit claiming that the famous Steam Summer Sale would begin June 23 at 9:45 am PT and run until July 4 at 10:00 am PT. A member of staff was able to confirm that this rumor is true, and that the dates are, in fact, correct.
The original leak was posted on Reddit by community member “MrFreemanBBQ” yesterday. In a little under 24 hours, the post has already received 409 comments, and has been upvoted by 93%. Currently, Reddit still has the information set as “unverified”.
Last year, the dates for the Steam Summer Sale were leaked as well, so it should come as no surprise that they were leaked again.
The information is 100% confirmed; the Steam Summer Sale will run from June 23 – July 4.
