Freeware horror title The House Abandon is expanding to a five episode format with Stories Untold on 27 February. Devolver Digital will be handling the publishing, and the game has a Steam page.
Thematically, Stories Untold is said to be “a compilation tape of four episodes from the now cancelled series of the same name”, plus a remaster of the original The House Abandon. Both the teaser trailer (below) and promo poster share more than a little in common with the Netflix series Stranger Things; not least because the poster was created by Kyle Lambert who worked on that show.
That, as far as I can tell, is the extent of the Stranger Things connection. ZX Spectrum (or Spectrum-like) home computers seem to feature though, so it’s pretty 1980s-centric too. Here’s the fairly mysterious trailer.
