Firefly’s castle sim Stronghold Crusader 2 should have no problems running on your PC as the specs are revealed.

With the closed beta test now underway for Stronghold Crusader 2,  the development team has been busy optimising the game and decided to settle on some final system requirements.

The minimum PC system requirements for Stronghold Crusader 2 are as follows:

  • Operating System: Windows® XP/Windows Vista/Windows 7/Windows 8 (latest service packs) with DirectX 9.0c
  • Processor: Intel Core2 Duo 2Ghz or equivalent
  • Memory: 2GB RAM
  • Video: NVIDIA® GeForce® 8800GT 512MB or AMD Radeon™ HD 2900XT 512MB or better
  • Storage: 6 GB available HD space
  • Internet: Broadband Internet connection

The team are determined to make the game as accessible as possible saying “we are aiming to get the game running on a wide range of systems, performance being just as high on our list of priorities as bug fixing.”

Stronghold Crusader 2 will be released on 2 September 2014.
