Cyanide’s goblin infiltration game gets a new set of shady screenshots.

Cyanide Studio are trying their hand at stealth games with Styx: Master of Shadows. You’ll be taking the role of Styx, a goblin assassin heading into the Tower of Akenash to amass a small fortune and maybe find out a little about his origins, since he’s not just a goblin – he’s the first of all goblins. You’ll have to gather information, steal loot, and (naturally) murder your opposition.

You’ve got six talent trees to upgrade, a variety of special powers to use, and a number of methods you can employ to stay hidden and keep the guards unsuspecting.

No word on a release date yet, but I’d take a guess at “sometime later this year.”
