Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris – Wesderath Treasure Chests (Mildea Plains and more)

Mildea Plains #1: Raging Dragon

Below, you’ll see a map of Mildea Plains:

Fast travel to Mildea Lighthouse. You should have the savepoint activated since it’s part of one of Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris‘ main quests.

Anyway, take a look northwards and you’ll spot a rocky outcropping at the river.

Swim across the river and jump on the rocks. These are your typical “wonky textures” that’ll let you climb up. Even a “slope” that would normally cause you to slide down lets you continue jumping.

Pick up the golden treasure chest for your reward.

Reward: Raging Dragon (mace) – +91 damage; +2 critical; “Leadership” perk (-25% aggro gauge decrease).

Mildea Plains #2: Raging Devil

Fast travel back to Mildea Lighthouse and look to the south. You’ll notice another rocky outcropping in the middle of the body of water.

Just cross the shallow water until you get to the opposite shore. Take a look because you’ll notice that there are actually two rock formations close to each other.

The golden treasure chest is on the left. But, we need to reach the one on the right to get there. (Yes, I used blue this time because the sun’s about to set.)

Swim and climb on top of the rocks and make your way around it. Again, it’s your good ol’ “wonky textures” helping you get on top of slippery rocks.

Once you’ve made your climb, use your Sacred Arts: Steel -> Create Metal, then Wind -> Tailwind.

Take note of the image below. We can’t actually reach the top of the other rock formation. Instead, we’ll have to glide towards one of the lower ledges.

This will allow us to climb on one of the nooks.

Note: Remember to be very careful here — no sudden movements — because your character might accidentally fall off for no reason. It’s those clunky controls I mentioned in our Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris review.

Gingerly walk and then jump to reach the top to get the chest.

Reward: Raging Devil (2H sword) – +112 damage; “Weapons of Darkness” perk (+100 HP absorption; -20% damage reduction).

Raubal Greenbelt #1: Devilripper

Below, you’ll see a map of Raubalt Greenbelt. I’ve already picked up the golden treasure chests here, but I’ve encircled their locations on the map:

Sao Al Wesdgtc 1a

Teleport to Cliffia Town and go northwest. If you look at the gorge below, you’ll spot the golden treasure chest.

Sao Al Wesdgtc 1b

Get close and use Tailwind if needed so you can glide.

Reward: Devilripper (katana) – +86 damage; +5 critical; “Sword Focus” perk (+10% ATK).

Raubal Greenbelt #2: Time’s Cage

The second golden treasure chest in Raubalt Greenbelt is probably something you already picked up earlier. You’ve headed to that location during The Three Keys, a main quest in Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris, one that caps off your romp in Wesderath.

Anyway, this will just be a quick refresher, so go ahead and fast travel to Foothill Manor (the savepoint in the southeast).

Sao Al Wesdgtc 4a

There’s a pathway just behind the manor itself heading towards the side of the mountain.

Sao Al Wesdgtc 2b

Follow the mountain pass as it loops around and, eventually, you’ll see the statue which gave you one of the Three Keys.

Sao Al Wesdgtc 2d

The golden treasure chest is also in this area.

Reward: Time’s Cage (bow) – +132 damage; “The Soul’s End” perk (+100 SP and -50% HP).

Sao Al Wesdgtc 2e

Next up, let’s look for the golden treasure chests in Minelda Rocks and Villind Plateaus.
