Minelda Rocks: Prison Whip
Below, you’ll see a map of Minelda Rocks:
Fast travel to the Bonefire savepoint (which you’ve likely accessed when you passed by this area during The Three Keys main quest). Look northeast and you’ll spot the chest on one of the crags that’s jutting out.
Go ahead and make your way there.
Look across and, oh, it seems our marker is misleading us to our doom. It’s not aligned with the chest’s location.
Don’t fall down while you’re making your way across towards the chest.
Reward: Prison Whip – +92 damage; +34 Sacred Arts damage; “Hazy Light” perk (+25 SP when you evade).
Villind Plateaus: Sage Clothes
Below, you’ll see a map of Villind Plateaus:
The chest is all the way to the south, so fast travel to the Wraithstream Caverns checkpoint. There’s a Clamp here and several toad mobs. You’ll probably need to eliminate all of them since aggro can be annoying.
The cavern will eventually loop around and you’ll see a plaque emblazoned with runes. Unfortunately, the chest is nowhere to be found.
Oh, the chest is hiding behind that object. Sneaky chest!
Reward: Sage Clothes (armor) – +38 defense; +38 Sacred Arts damage; “Astral Training” perk (+40% area of effect coverage). The armor piece also has an extra slot for an attachment/mod.
