Do you remember catching wind of rumors that Koji Igarashi would be making an original Metroidvania game after leaving Konami? There was even a Twitter account made, before things hit a secret standstill. Well, it looks like this is finally happening.
There’s no mistake about it. This new site, named Sword or Whip – #igavania, does not make any secret about Igarashi’s involvement, or the nods to Castlevania.
As indicated, the site has you choosing either a sword or a whip, while an unnamed seated man, who looks like Igarashi dressed like Dracula, making not so cryptic messages like this one:
