Long-running point and click adventure series Syberia (the second game was released 13 years ago) will continue in April with the release of Syberia 3. 20 April is the date in Europe, and 25 April for North America.

This third entry will find Kate Walker washed up on a shoreline, and rescued by the Youkol people. Walker vows to aid the Youkol with their tradition of snow ostrich migration. The game has been delayed a couple of times already (it was originally due at the end of last year, then March this year), but now seems to have settled on a release date.

Here’s a new ‘discovery’ trailer. It highlights the game’s change from pre-rendered backgrounds to full 3D for Syberia 3, which to be honest may not entirely be in its favour.
