PopCap has confirmed that they have laid off an unrevealed number of staff today. They do point out the layoffs did not affect PopCap HD, who are in charge of Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare.
Popcap producer Brian Lindley revealed with Technobuffalo that Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare runs 900p, 60FPS on the Xbox One.
Of course, with Garden Warfare, resolution shouldn’t be as big a deal as it has been with other games. Much like Super Mario 3D World the game’s cartoony style means it doesn’t have the high graphic requirements of a COD: Ghosts. If Popcap can keep a steady 60FPS, performance will be just fine.
