Dark Souls 2 PC delayed in the UK

Bad news for Britain’s everywhere, the boxed PC release of Dark Souls 2 has been delayed until May 2nd, Bandai Namco have announced. The game was originally due to be released on April 25th but has been pushed back because of “a manufacturing issue with packaging”. Video games are getting a tax break in the UK

It has been decided by the European Commission that there will be a tax break for games which are developed in the UK. MCV has reported that the break will affect around 25% of UK made games.

“The European Commission has concluded that UK plans to grant certain tax relief to producers of video games are in line with EU state aid rules,” the EC said. “The Commission has found in particular that the measure provides incentives to developers to produce games meeting certain cultural criteria, in line with EU objectives.”

Ubisoft reveal Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag Jackdaw Edition

Ubisoft have revealed that they will be releasing a new edition of Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag exclusively through Amazon. This new edition, called the Jackdaw Edition, will feature the full game, Freedom Cry DLC, and six other pieces of DLC that have already been released.

So far the Jackdaw edition has only been announced on the PS4 and Xbox One and has only been announced for release in the UK. Although there is currently no info regarding its release in other countries it doesn’t seem like a huge leap to assume it will make it overseas.
