Templar-tation: Ubisoft to release Heritage Collection of five Assassin’s Creed titles

Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood

This was the best one.

On 8 November (in the UK at least,) Ubisoft will be releasing a big fat package of all five Assassin’s Creed titles prior to Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag. Actually, that’s missing Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation, isn’t it? That one is coming to PC but will be separate, I guess.

Anyway, the so-called ‘Heritage Collection’ (like it’s a piece of antique furniture from a stately home or something,) will include Assassin’s Creed, Assassin’s Creed II, Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood, Assassin’s Creed: Revelations and Assassin’s Creed III. You’ll also get the Battle of Forli and Bonfire of the Vanities DLC bits for Assassin’s Creed II. None of the other DLC will be included though, which seems like a bit of a shame if you’re trying to make this the definitive collection.

The press release announcing this (which arrived on Thursday even though we’re barred from talking about it until Friday, embargo fans) doesn’t include any details of price whatsoever. That’s a bit rubbish, but luckily I’ve been able to find some online stores listing this for pre-order already. If those listings are accurate, it looks like the Heritage Collection will be around 50 Euros (which works out to $70.00 USD, or £40.00 GBP.)
