TF2 Sniper Update Countdown Begins

Valve have begun detailing Team Fortress 2’s Sniper update. If this is anything like the Scout update, then this indicates that the Sniper update will be with us very soon, as Valve revealed one new feature that would be in the Scout update each day before it was launched.Right now, Valve are showing off the Huntsman – a longbow that the Sniper will be getting to grips with – in a post entitled “You will shoot them and they will stick to the wall and they will die.”In an attempt to argue that, no, bows are actually quite good, the site tells us “One headshot from the Huntsman can mean an instant crit, in addition to a bolt-ridden corpse hanging from a wall that’s gruesome and funny.” And if it doesn’t kill them? Well, they’ll be running around with an arrow sticking out them. The Huntsman has 18 arrows, and requires a one-second charge for full power shots. We’ve previously heard that the Sniper update is going to be the “largest TF2 update yet.” We’ll find out exactly what that means in the coming days.
