The Behemoth’s Game 4 now named Pit People

The Behemoth have finally given their long-in-development Game 4 a proper name: Pit People.

Pit People is a fast-paced turn-based strategy game which has you recruit allies, gather loot, and customise your fighters into a lethal fighting force. It’s all wonderfully narrated by Will Stamper (who also narrated Battleblock Theater), and will offer single player, two-player co-op, and competitive play for up to four players. All while maintaining The Behemoth’s rather unique art style, of course.

“Pit People” was apparently written on the original concept sketch for the game, and the Pit itself refers to a battle arena “where our story’s heroes get a fresh start in life.” As such, I suppose it’s a fairly fitting name.

You can see the first 20 minutes of the game below to get a feel for how it works, if you’re still curious about what the game actually is. Pit People is due out… at some point. In the future. Maybe this year?
