The Hunter Is Quite Popular

Aptly titled free-to-play hunting sim, The Hunter, has had one million visitors since launch.Considering The Hunter only launched back in April, one million visitors isn’t bad going at all, but it’s not entirely hard to see why. The free-to-play mechanic works well with the title – hunting bigger game or getting different bits of equipment (like the forthcoming compound bow) will cost you, but you can happily try it out for awhile without paying a penny. The constant stream of updates and content post-launch has likely helped, too.We rather enjoyed the time we spent with it, back in beta, and were surprised at both how good it looked and at how sneaky you had to be. Have a read of the preview and if it sounds like your sort of thing, give it a go for yourself.
