Fall Guys Jungle Book

The Jungle Book is coming to Fall Guys in a jungle-themed event

It's a bare necessity.

The jungle is about to heat up in the Fall Guys universe. Developer Mediatonic revealed a new collaboration for their hopped-up battle royale game. Disney’s The Jungle Book is swinging on over to the Fall Guys universe, with new costumes and a special limited-time event.

This marks another unexpected crossover into a world that features characters all the way from Ratchet & Clank to Doom. It’s undoubtedly going to be hilarious to see Mowgli prancing across the obstacle courses alongside characters like 2B and Sonic the Hedgehog. But honestly, can we expect any less from this game at this point? It wouldn’t be a Fall Guys crossover if it weren’t just a little off the rails.

I wanna be like youuuu

The Jungle Book crossover event seems to be substantially larger than usual. We’re getting four Jungle Book-themed costumes — Mowgli, Shere Khan, Baloo, and King Louie. Each costume will drop on a different set of days:

  • Mowgli: September 3 – 6
  • Shere Khan: September 7 – 9
  • Baloo: September 10 – 12

However, King Louie will only be available as an event reward for participating in some of his challenges. Some of the challenges include winning a Squads Show, or reaching a certain round in the special “Welcome to the Jungle” playlist. Either way, you complete these challenges and rack up points, which you can use to unlock the King Louie costume. This event will run from September 3 to September 12, so you have to act fast if you want to be like King Louie — literally!

The addition of a Disney property to Fall Guys is huge, and certainly, The Jungle Book is a massive IP that fits well in the game’s universe. Each crossover seems to be getting larger than the last, and at this point, I’m just about expecting the big mouse from that little clubhouse to make a grand appearance.
