The one brick: Lego Lord of the Rings confirmed [Video]

It had already been strongly hinted at by some Lego toy packaging, but now we have confirmation; Lego Lord of the Rings will be coming to multiple platforms this autumn. As ever, TT Games will be handling development duties for the game, which will follow the events of the Peter Jackson film trilogy (itself based on JRR Tolkien’s novels).
That means you’ll be able to follow Frodo, Gandalf, Elrond and the rest of the Middle Earth gang as they try to stop evil sorcerer Sauron from getting his hands on the One Ring.
“We are huge aficionados of The Lord of the Rings franchise and are incredibly excited to put our special Lego family-friendly touch on this classic fantasy adventure,” says Tom Stone of TT Games.
The title will be coming to Xbox 360, PS3, PC, Wii, 3DS, DS and PS Vita. Watch the E3 2012 trailer below, which (as seems to be becoming a trend with Lego games) features a fair bit of actual talking.
