EA and Maxis want to bring the holidays to The Sims 4 right now with freebies.
A free content update for The Sims 4 is now available by logging into the game on Origin. The update includes new career paths such as business tycoon, angel investor. For the fitness freaks there’s also a couple of new athletic career paths. That’s not all, there’s now special career objects, career reward rooms in Build Mode, and an Objects Cheat which allows players to create new objects from two or more items.
How do you activate the Objects Cheat? It’s simple if you’ve already been messing with the command lines in the game.
To activate the cheat:
1. Type Ctrl-Shift-C to bring up the game’s console.
2. Enter “testingcheats true”
3. Enter “bb.moveobjects”
4. Enter “Ctrl-Shift-C” to close the dialog box
5. To turn off the cheat, repeat steps 1-4.
· Note, once the cheat is off, you can’t move the affected objects. If you do, the “moveobject” ability will be lost.
No Christmas would be complete without some hideous jumpers and decorations which are included in this pack update. How to you get it? Follow these steps.
Redeem your free Holiday Celebration Pack with these easy steps:
1. The Holiday Celebration Pack can be unlocked by logging into Origin and launching The Sims 4.
2. Banners within the main menu and Gallery of The Sims 4 will appear with the option to redeem the “Holiday Celebration Pack.”
3. Click on the respective banner to surface an in-game pop up that will place the Holiday Celebration Pack in your shopping cart.
4. No payment information will be required to check out.
5. You will then be directed to an order confirmation page. Click the “Close” button.
6. After closing, you will receive a notification that your content is preparing for download.
7. Click the “Ok” button.
8. Once the download is complete, a notification will inform you that the Holiday Celebration Pack has been successfully installed.
9. You will need to restart The Sims 4 in order to see content from the Holiday Celebration Pack in your game.
10. Alternatively, you can also redeem the Holiday Celebration Pack via Origin.com. Simply follow the instructions to download and install the pack into your game.
