E3 has just finished but the videogame show must go on and the biggest event has still to take place, Gamescom in Cologne.

Gamescom gets underway on 21 August, and while lot of games were revealed at E3, this year EA are to show the Sims 4 for the first time as one of their big Gamescom reveals.

The Sims 4 was announced back on 6 may and Maxis promises a “deeper connection with the most expressive, surprising and charming Sims ever in this single-player offline experience”.

Since the announcement anything Sims 4 related has been kept rather quiet by Maxis, and now we know why. If you’re a Sims fan then keep an eye on Gamescom coverage because you’ll probably not hear much more about the new game until then.
