The Witcher 2 To Include ‘Insane’ Difficulty Mode

CD Projekt, those loveable funsters behind the Witcher series of RPGs, have revealed that the game will feature an ‘insane’ difficulty mode that will require a restart if Geralt dies.
Speaking to Eurogamer, designer Mateusz Kanik confirmed that if you die in the game during Insane mode you will die IN REAL LIFE. Kind of. Well, you’ll have to restart the game.
“You can save the game, but when you die the saves are disabled,” he said, possibly twirling his moustache and surpressing a cackle at the time.
The hardcore nature of this announcement was slightly undercut when Kanik added that “Of course we plan to have a resurrection scroll, maybe DLC or something. You’ll see.”
The Witcher 2 will be released for the PC in May and can be purchased in so many different ways.
