Thrustmaster releasing battered looking Doom Y-300X headsets

DOOM arrives on the 13 May and if you want to go all-out with the fragging experience, then perhaps these rugged-looking headphones will appeal.

Thrustmaster is releasing officially licensed Y-3o0X headsets with a distinctive DOOM look. There’s also a new Y-350X headset which is not the best option for PC gamers as it’s is more expensive ($149.99) and comes with extras not needed on the PC such as a separate power supply and Y Sound Commander. All the stuff you don’t need.

As PC gamers you’ll therefore want the Y-300X which cost SRP $59.99, and although they probably won’t make you any better at the game, at least you’ll look the part.
