Internet miscommunication is a wonderful thing and if you though the Titanfall beta was some kind of open beta then think again.

Following Vince Zampella‘s recent comment that you won’t need to pre-order the game to get access the beta, that has been misunderstood  vt fans that there would be no code required and it would be an open beta.

This morning Vince clarified that player will need a code and that it is a closed beta.

Can you imagine the chaos on servers if it had been an open beta? Every man and his mech would be trying to pile on to servers at the same time which would probably crash the Internet and the planet.
