Everybody enjoys downloading a game on Steam ahead of release, and that’s now possible with Creative Assembly’s Total War: Warhammer.

Reports are trickling in from players who’ve pre-ordered the game and are now able to pre-load the 10GB or so required (which expands to 20GB on the HD or SSD, whichever you’re using). Total War: Warhammer itself is coming out on 24 May.

This may take a while to roll out to every single Steam region, but if you keep restarting Valve’s digital platform then the option to do some preloading should pop up at some point today. Assuming you own a copy of the game, obviously.
