A slow week for new releases means little change in the overall UK chart line-up, but there has been a change at the top. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 has been dethroned by Bethesda’s gigantic fantasy jaunt, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, which has popped up from fifth place to take the summit.
We called it “The best Elder Scrolls so far”, so it’s no huge surprise that fans of Morrowind, Oblivion and RPGs in general are picking it up.
Elsewhere, there’s a triplicate of Mario action with Mario Kart 7, Mario & Sonic London 2012 Olympic Games and Super Mario 3D Land sitting pretty between 10th and 12th place.
There are no brand new entries, but ABBA: You Can Dance and Sonic Generations have sneaked into the top 20 from lower positions. ABBA aren’t the only dancers around though, with Just Dance 3 making a festive bid to be number one at Christmas (up another place from last week to sit in third place).
Here’s the Top 20, in full:
1 THE ELDER SCROLLS V: SKYRIM
2 CALL OF DUTY: MODERN WARFARE 3
