Awakening simulacra is an underrated way of improving your team’s effectiveness. The awakening mechanic isn’t well explained, but it’s still important to understand and take advantage of it. To help you out we’ve put together this guide on the best gifts and traits for every simulacrum in Tower of Fantasy.

Getting gifts and why it’s worth awakening simulacra
The main benefit of awakening simulacra is that you can gain access to unique traits. These traits are passive abilities that enhance your power. Every character in Tower of Fantasy has a unique trait with the SSR rarity simulacra possessing the most powerful traits.
To unlock these traits, you have to first awaken a simulacrum of choice. You can awaken a simulacrum by using enough gifts on them. Depending on your chosen simulacra’s preferences, each gift will give between 15 and 80 Awakening Points. You need 1,200 Awakening Points to unlock a simulacrum’s base trait, and 4,000 are needed to unlock their enhanced trait. The enhanced trait is always a stronger version of the base trait.

Your playstyle will affect what simulacrum’s trait is best for you. Some popular traits include Samir’s Shadow, Tsubasa’s Raging Waves, and Crow’s Silent Night. These are all strong DPS traits that will substantially increase the damage you can deal. Some players may prefer tank-focused traits, like Meryl’s Frosted, or support-focused traits, like Cocoritter’s Trust. There are even non-combat traits like Hilda’s Full-speed Drifting, which speeds up vehicles by 10%.
But how do you obtain gifts in the first place? Some can be purchased from Claude, a merchant located in Banges. However, most gifts are obtained by completing dailies. The best gifts for each simulacrum in Tower of Fantasy
Below is a listing of every character’s traits and the best gifts to give each simulacrum. Only gifts that award at least 60 Awakening Points or more are listed. Keep in mind that if you want to awaken a specific simulacrum as quickly as possible, it can be worth using gifts not listed below. It won’t be as efficient in the long run, but it will speed up the process of obtaining a desired trait.
- Bai Ling: Resoluteness – When Bai Ling puts the Glider of the Jetboard away, increase speed by 15% for 12 seconds.
- 80 Points: Snow Globe, Warren Fossil.
- 60 Points: 3D Hykros Puzzle, Angela Ornament, Crown Token, Limited Peanut Figurine, Silver Cookware, Smarty Doll.
- Cocoritter: Trust – When Cocoritter uses a support weapon, increase healing and healing received by 20%. And when Cocoritter uses a support-type weapon’s discharge skill or weapon skill, increase nearby allies’ ATK by 15% for 5 seconds.
- 80 Points: Snow Globe.
- 60 Points: 3D Hykros Puzzle, Angela Ornament, Banges Speciality, Limited Peanut Figurine, Smarty Doll, Void Angel Figurine, Warren Fossil.
- Crow: Silent Night – When Crow is not in a team, increase damage dealt by 10% and reduce damage received by 6%. When Crow enters combat, increase damage dealt by 12% for 12 seconds.
- 80 Points: Aida Comic, Limited Tata Figurine.
- 60 Points: Angela Ornament, Crown Token, Limited Peanut Figurine, Metal Alf Figurine, New Game Console, Void Angel Figurine.
- Echo: Determination – When teamed up with Echo, allies within 10 meters around Echo gain a damage boost of 6%.
- 80 Points: Aida Comic, New Game Console.
- 60 Points: 3D Hykros Puzzle, Angel Ornament, Crown Token, Limited Peanut Figurine, Limited Tata Figurine, Music Box.
- Ene: Beyond Limits Mode – When Ene swims, climbs, or glides, reduce endurance consumption by 20%.
- 60 Points: Angela Ornament, Banges Specialty, Limited Peanut Figurine, Music Box, New Game Console, Plush Toy, Smarty Doll, Snow Globe.
By giving Ene’s simulacra gifts in Tower of Fantasy, you’ll be able to get around the open world easier.
- Hilda: Full-speed Drifting – When Hilda uses a vehicle, increase speed by 10%.
- 80 Points: Limited Tata Figurine.
- 60 Points: Aida Comic, Banges Specialty, Crown Token, Limited Peanut Figurine, Metal Alf Figurine, New Game Console, Plush Toy, Smarty Doll, Void Angel Figurine.
- Huma: Iron Screen – Each time Huma receives damage, gain 1 Fortitude mark and gain one more Fortitude mark if it is flame damage, up to one time per 1 second and 12 stacks in total. Upon using a weapon skill, use all Fortitude marks and gain an HP shield equal to the number of marks x0.6% HP for 12 seconds.
- 80 Points: Angela Ornament.
- 60 Points: 3D Hykros Puzzle, Aida Comic, Limited Peanut Figurine, Music Box, New Game Console, Snow Globe.
- King: Fear Reaper – Every five enemies defeated by King restores HP equal to 10% of Max HP.
- 80 Points: Crown Token, Warren Fossil.
- 60 Points: 3D Hykros Puzzle, Aida Comic, Limited Peanut Figurine, Limited Tata Figurine, New Game Console, Silver Cookware, Smarty Doll, Void Angel Figurine.
- Meryl: Frosted – Reduce frost damage received by Meryl by 25%, gain immunity to the frostbitten debuff, and reduce the duration of being frozen by 50%.
- 80 Points: Warren Fossil.
- 60 Points: 3D Hykros Puzzle, Crown Token, Silver Cookware, Smarty Doll, Void Angel Figurine.
- Nemesis: Sublimation – After summoning an Electrode, deal volt damage equal to 100% of ATK to all enemies within 30 meters of the Electrode and heal all allies within its range by 200% of ATK.
- 80 Points: Angela Ornament.
- 60 Points: Aida Comic, Banges Specialty, Limited Peanut Figurine, Plush Toy, Smarty Doll, Snow Globe
By giving Nemesis gifts in Tower of Fantasy, you’ll be able to significantly increase both her healing and DPS significantly.
- Pepper: Source – When Pepper spends satiety to restore HP, increases the restoration effect by 200%.
- 80 Points: Angela Ornament.
- 60 Points: Aida Comic, Crown Token, Limited Peanut Figurine, Silver Cookware, Smarty Doll, Snow Glove, Warren Fossil.
- Samir: Shadow – Grant one stack of Concentration for every four seconds when Samir receives no damage. Each stack increases damage dealt by 4% and can stack up to five times. After being hit, Samir loses one stack of concentration.
- 60 Points: 3D Hykros Puzzle, Banges Specialty, Music Box, New Game Console, Plush Toy, Smarty Doll.
- Shiro: Red Alarm – When Shiro uses a weapon skill or discharge skill, increase all kinds of ATK by 16% and physical ATK by an additional 10% for 8 seconds.
- 80 Points: Silver Cookware, Warren Fossil.
- 60 Points: 3D Hykros Puzzle, Banges Specialty, Crown Token, Metal Alf Figurine, Music Box, Smarty Doll. Snow Glove, Void Angel Figurine
- Tsubasa – Raging Waves – Each time Tsubasa deals damage, gain one stack of Fierce Strike, up to one stack each second. Each stack adds 0.6% ATK, up to 30 stacks. Refreshes effect duration upon gaining the effect again.
- 80 Points: Plush Toy, Void Angel Figurine.
- 60 Points: 3D Hykros Puzzle, Aida Comic, Crown Token, Limited Peanut Figurine, Metal Alf Figurine, New Game Console, Snow Glove, Warren Fossil.
- Zero – Overall Planning – When Zero uses a weapon skill, reduce cooldown time for Relics in cooldown by 3 seconds. Can only activate the same weapon one time every 5 seconds.
- 80 Points: New Game Console.
- 60 Points: 3D Hykros Puzzle, Aida Comic, Crown Token, Limited Peanut Figurine, Music Box, Plush Toy.
It’s worth giving Tsubasa gifts, as her Ragic Waves trait is among one of the best in Tower of Fantasy.
